Cape Barron Geese

Kangaroo Island's Flinders Chase lived up to its reputation of being a sanctuary for native Australian animals. it was here Cape Barron Geese were cropping the grasses & nesting on the ground in colonies. Their bills were unusual for geese. Also displayed spots on some of their feathers and looked as though they were wearing pink leggings and black boots.
