Original Carol
Barrett paintings are available for sale, and some of these
are
shown on the gallery pages. She
also undertakes commissions of wildlife in the client’s preferred
medium, eg, pastel, acrylic or oil.
Carol
lives and works in Edinburgh and regularly travels to Africa to
study, sketch and photograph wildlife in its natural habitat.
She exhibits annually, and recently exhibited at The Edinburgh
International Conference Centre in August 2008. She will be showing
in the Di Rollo Gallery in December 2008.

Carol presenting Dr. Laurie Marker, Co-Founder
and Executive Director of The Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF),
with ‘Vantage Point’, one of her original cheetah paintings, which
was auctioned in aid of CCF.
Carol
has contributed to, and supported, a number of wildlife projects
in Africa and the UK, including The Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF).
Carol has joined “Artist Helping Cheetahs”, and will
donate 20% of revenues from selected items.
EXHIBITIONS
Di Rollo
Gallery
Carol
and fellow wildlife artist Robert J Ollason will be exhibiting
a selection of their work in a mixed exhibition in the
Di Rollo Gallery, 18a Dundas Street, Edinburgh, in December
2008.

CONSERVATION
Carol
is committed to conservation and
has donated paintings and prints of her work to the Chobe
Wildlife Trust, the Cheetah Conservation Fund, the Gwaai
Valley Elephant Fund and conservation projects of the
Royal Zoological Society of Scotland. |
