Conservation

Carol is a committed conservationist and has donated paintings and other art work to help raise funds for conservation projects, and by exhibition, where the RZSS received 30% of sales.

Carol has spent time at The Cheetah Conservation Fund, at their Headquarters near Otjiwarongo in Namibia, where she was studying, sketching and working closely with their resident cheetah, gaining an invaluable insight into this highly endangered cat.

Carol has joined “Artists Helping Cheetahs”. The Cheetah Conservation Fund will receive 20% of the sale from all items on this page (see Cheetah Gallery)

Friends of Conservation Event

Carol visiting Kora and Lualeni at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust - on the edge of Nairobi National Park. Carol is fostering both these orphan elephants until they are old enough to be integrated with wild elephants and totally self sufficient.

Carol was invited to exhibit at the International Primatological Society’s (IPS) 22nd Congress at Edinburgh’s International Conference Centre. An original pastel painting and framed signed limited edition print were donated to the IPS silent auction and 25% from the sale of her artworks were donated to the Primate Society of Great Britain (PSGB) where this year the Hainan Gibbon reforestation project was the recipient of conservation funds.
