Conservation
Carol
is a committed conservationist and donated 10% of the proceeds
of her November 2000 exhibition
to the Chobe Wildlife Trust, with 20% going to
the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland which hosted the exhibition.
Carol exhibits regularly at the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland,
and the Society receives 30% of the proceeds of paintings sold.
In
addition, the proceeds of one of Carol's paintings sold at the
exhibition, "Slowly Stalking" (below), were donated to
the Cheetah Conservation Fund. A range of cheetah cards were donated
to the Cheetah Conservation Fund lecture given by Dr Laurie Marker
for them to sell to help raise funds for saving wild cheetah.

Another of Carol's paintings,
"Last to Water", is available for sale, and the proceeds
will be donated to the Chobe Wildlife Trust.

Carol is fostering an orphan elephant and supporting The David
Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.

Carol is recently back from staying at The Cheetah
Conservation Fund, at their Headquarters near Otjiwarongo in Namibia,
where she was studying, sketching and working closely with their
resident cheetah, gaining an invaluable insight into this highly
endangered cat, which will enable artwork to be created featuring
those particular cheetah.
